EMC Training and Seminar Courses

Montrose Compliance provides in-house EMC training worldwide

Overview – “EMC Made Simple” is the Foundation of all Classes

EMC training is provided with various course dealing with system design to comply with any Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirement worldwide.  The field of EMC includes all electrical devices. We must minimize electromagnetic field coupling and interference from both within and between systems based on environment or end use application.

All courses are taught in a “fundamental format“. These courses are also an excellent refresher for senior engineers who want a more thorough understanding of the physics and theory behind electromagnetic field generation and propagation associated with printed circuit board as system design.  Depending on experience, advanced elements of applied EMC may be presented.  When applicable, simulations are used to highlight important aspects of signal integrity, impedance control, transmission line termination, grounding and referencing along with decoupling methodologies to name a few aspects related to printed circuit board design.

Who Should Attend

Practicing engineers of all disciplines: system and electrical engineering designers, regulatory compliance, EMC engineers, EMC technicians, independent consultants, students, mechanical and PCB designers.  No formal training in electronics or electromagnetic theory is required. Engineers in other disciplines will also gain valuable insights into multiple aspects of system design that includes PCB layout for EMI and signal integrity, grounding and shielding, system level testing, troubleshooting techniques and certification.

Benefits of Attending

  • Enhanced Skills for System Design and Analysis from Component to System Level
  • Explore the Physics on How Electromagnetic Fields are Created and Propagated in a Visual and Simplified Manner
  • Learn EMC Suppression and Mitigation versus Containment
  • Understand Simplified Design Techniques for both System and Printed Circuit Boards
  • Helps Achieve First-Time Compliance
  • Ensures Current State-of-the-Art Technology Knowledge through use of Continuing Education
